[edit] Pure alien
In the most literal sense, "alien" would refer to the pure aliens. These creatures are the outlandish visitors that come from another planet that abduct your Sims during the use of an expensive telescope.
[edit] Appearance
Pure aliens always have the following features:
- Green skin
- Large, dilated, black pupils
- Pointed ears (Pre-made neighborhood Canon)
- Small ears (Custom neighborhood Canon)
- Long, gaunt faces
- Small, flat noses
- Black hair genes (exept perhaps Pollination Technician 9 )
- Lack of hair (except Pollination Technician 9 and Stella Terrano)
[edit] Social caste
From what little information is given from the family history of Pollination Technician 9, a player can see what appears to be a social caste among the lives of aliens on their home planet:
- Birth Queens are the central reproductive system of the aliens. It appear that whomever impregnates them has no marital attachment to them, and that the sole life purpose of a birth queen is to breed.
- Colony Drones are the workers of alien society. They appear to serve their overlords similar to worker-bees.
- Pollination Technicians are the aliens that pilot spacecrafts seen from telescopes and can somehow impregnate male Sims, which will in turn give birth to alien-Sim hybrids.
[edit] Reproductive System
- Natural Reproduction occurs when a colony drone or another male alien impregnates the female of the species, the Birth Queen
- Pollinational Reproduction occurs when an adult male Sim is abducted while stargazing with the Farstar e3 telescope, and he returns pregnant with an alien baby. This baby can be very unique, and is known as an Alien-Sim Hybrid.

Alien-Sim hybrids
![]()
Johnny and Jill Smith, alien-Sim hybrids. As you can see, they are very unique. Johnny has alien skin but normal facial features and Jill looks mostly normal.
This is the other term that could define "alien". These Sims are playable and are what is defined as one of the many Sim "life states".
[edit] Appearance
- Almost always has a flat nose, some even have a dent where the nose should be.
- Usually has green skin, but not always (see Flamenco Caliente and Jill Smith)
- Usually has large, dilated, black pupils
- Usually has curved, normal Sim ears
- Always has blue gums
When transitioning to toddler, alien-Sim hybrids may express facial features not usually found on normal Sims. These attributes can then be passed on when the alien child grows up and reproduces.
[edit] Advantages and uniqueness
This is possibly the simplest of all life states. Unlike pure aliens, alien-Sim hybrids are treated equally with other Sims and reproduce the same, as well. Advantages of having a hybrid include a unique skin tone and facial features. A unique feature to their birth is that when the child is born a different cinematic is used. Another unique feature of alien hybrid Sims is that they have personalities that tend to the extremes in each area. A final feature is the missing WooHoo, the missing partner, and the male pregnancy. Another advantage to having a hybrid is that an alien-Sim hybrid teenager can apply for an alien scholarship for college.
Aliens are usually found in Strangetown for Personal Computer, whilst console versions has them inhabiting Strangetown and Pleasantview.
[edit] How to become impregnated by Aliens
There are four ways to become impregnated by Aliens.
- The Natural Way - Have a male adult Sim stargaze with the Farstar e3 telescope until he gets abducted. The chances of this are very slim, but increase tremendously if that Sim consecutively stargazes all night and into the early hours of the morning. After your Sim gets abducted, he will return hours later with an 'unexpected surprise'... If you have the Nightlife Expansion Pack, you can also be abducted if you dance fast in the Dance Sphere with 10 Body points. If you have the Free Time expansion pack, Knowledge Sims with the knowledge aspiration benefits can select any telescopes to get abducted.
- The Semi-Cheating Way - Press control, shift, and C all at the same time to bring up the Cheat window. Type in,
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true(many sources say that certain letters must be capitalized, but in truth, it does not matter for this particular cheat). Then, select an adult Sim, shift-click on the telescope, and choose Debug then get Abducted. NOTE: Some difficulties with this cheat have been observed on my game, speculation is that the addition of recent expansion packs makes this cheat impossible). After abduction, results are the same as #1. - The Very Cheating Way - Initiate the boolprop cheat, as described in #2. Then, shift-click on any Sim and select Spawn, then Tombstone of L and D (life and death). Choose an adult Sim you wish to get pregnant (any gender) and click on the newly spawned tombstone. Then, search through options until you find Make Me Alien Pregnant. After the typical 3 days, the Sim will give birth to an alien.
- The Super-Awesome Cheating Way - Use the boolprop cheat, while in the Neighborhood menu screen, then create a new family. Press Shift+N to unlock the alien skin and eyes, and create your own alien, any age, gender, whatever... Go nuts with it. Press Shift+M to disable this mode, if it becomes annoying when creating "normal" Sims. Then impregnate Sims via Try for Baby or the Create-A-Child thing. It definitely is Super-Awesome.
