Armando Mendoza is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Bluewater Village, the shopping district shipped with The Sims 2: Open for Business. He was the husband of Carmen Mendoza, the father of Lisa Ramirez, and the grandfather of Tessa Ramirez. Armando has personality points and interests, something not every ancestral Sim has.

He is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. Armando has the Romance aspiration, and the Scorpio zodiac sign. As far as personality, he is very active, somewhat outgoing, and rather neat. But he is very grouchy and rather serious.

According to Armando's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was black before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 14 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Armando's facial structure is almost, if not identical to the 5th Maxis face template in Create a Sim.

According to his daughter's memories, he died after she married Checo Ramirez. In The Sims 3: University Life, Armando is the author of "Sports Team Extreme" comic book. Whether or not this is the same Armando is uncertain.
