Aspiration failure

This article describes features that are only available in The Sims 2.

Aspiration failure will occur when a Sims' aspiration bar reaches its minimum. The Sim will perform silly things related to his or her aspiration.

[edit] Grow Up Aspiration

Toddlers will cry and children will smash flower beds, urns, kick tombstones and kick rubbish bins, and throw tantrums.

[edit] Family Aspiration

Sims will pull out a sack of flour with a face painted on it and will begin to rock and cuddle it like a baby.

[edit] Fortune Aspiration

Sims will beg for Simoleons.

[edit] Grilled Cheese Aspiration

Sims will draw Mr. Grilled Cheese Sandwiches on a cardboard and kiss it, and attempt to eat it.

[edit] Knowledge Aspiration

Sims will pull out a ball with a face and mortarboard on it named "Prof. Von Ball" and talk to it.

[edit] Pleasure Aspiration

Sims puts a lampshade on its head and does a lively dance.

[edit] Popularity Aspiration

Sims has a lively conversation with a paper cup decorated with a drawn-on face.

[edit] Romance Aspiration

Sim cuddles and kisses a sponge mop with a decorated plate attached.

[edit] Sim Shrink

When a Sim reaches an aspiration failure, Sim Shrink will appear and cheer up your Sim. Your Sim will then gain a small boost at his or her aspiration bar to prevent further desperations.
