The Charmings are a family that appeared in The Sims, in the Unleashed expansion pack.
Claire Charming is the house owner and Luna Charming is Claire's pet dog. They lived in 69 First Avenue.
Onomatology
Charming as in pleasant, charismatic. Also a present participle form of charm.
Their names may also come from Clair De Lune.
Claire Charming -- means bright, clear.
Luna Charming (Claire's dog) --- means moon.
