Equipment skills are special skills that only dogs can learn in The Sims Pet Stories. The player first encounters them in Alice's story, when practicing for the dog show. Equipment skills are prerequisite for winning a pet show. Objects for training equipment skills are A-Frames, teeter totters, high jumps, tunnels, collapsible chutes and tire jumps. The player can check the dog's training level by clicking on the pet's icon and then search in the "equipment skills" section, which is a completely new feature added in Pet Stories.
