Dina Alyasaa Bachelor, née Caliente, is the younger twin sister of Nina Caliente, the wife of local celebrity Michael Bachelor, the mother of Simon Bachelor and the ex-girlfriend of Mortimer Goth, who now is her brother-in-law. Dina abandoned both her gold-digging ways as well as her pursuit of Mortimer when his wife Bella Goth returned. Unlike her sister, Dina may just be a little lazy and is not nearly as mean-spirited as her sister can be. She resurrected her deceassed husband Michael and remarried him, this time taking his last name.

At the start of The Sims 2, Dina Caliente was heavily implied to be a gold-digger out for the fortune of the elderly Mortimer Goth. However, his beloved wife Bella returned and due to her inherent kindness, Dina decided to look for companionship elsewhere. She managed to obtain the Resurrect-O-Nomitron and used it to resurrect her dead husband, Michael Bachelor and rekindled her romance, and later marriage with him. At some point, a Burglar unsuccessfully tried to "case" the lot but was apprehended before touching a single item. Some time afterwards, Dina became pregnant with her and Michael's first child, Simon who was born a bit after their second wedding. Right before her son aged into a Child, Dina, Michael and Simon moved out of the condo in to a family home in a more suburban area of Pleasantview.
- I gave Dina a somewhat radical makeover because I never really liked how she looked at the start of the game. I think the makeover worked out well.
- Dina and Nina are 1/4 Alien, although neither of them contain any Alien genetics. This makes her son Simon 1/8 Alien and seems a lot more interested in their alien heritage than Dina or Nina.
