Jacob Charlie "Jake" Gannon was a man who lived in Bridgeport with his husband. He was the son of John and Mary Gannon.
Biography[]
Childhood[]
Jake was born in the peaceful town of Riverview. His father, a descendant of King Vic The Illustrious, tried to raise him to take over his family's legacy and join the Political career, just like him. On the other side, his mother tried to unleash his creativity and intellectual gifts. This led to some fights between his parents, but he had a happy childhood and lots of friends, like Robert and Mags Newbie, Luke McDermott and Hal Breckenridge.
Teen Years[]
After a huge fight between John and Mary, Jake and his parents moved to Bridgeport to have a fresh start. There, he made some new friends, like Tiara Angelista, Matty Crewe and Renee Littler.
One day, when he was fifteen, his parents took him to The Prosper Room, where he first met the person he would marry someday, Matthew Hamming. Jake tried to talk to him, but he was blocked by a paparazzi. However, he enjoyed the night. When he and his parents left the building, a man approached him. As he was preparing to mug them, John tried to fight the criminal, but he and Mary were killed. The mugger didn't kill Jake, because the police was already on the way to the Lounge. The rest of his teen years weren't so happy, because he was taken away by a social worker.
After a few weeks, Jake moved in with his only living grandparent, Charlie Colebank, who told him a very important lesson:
"Kid, the world is a dangerous place. That man who shot your parents... I'm not sure he is going to leave you alone. This town needs justice. And what are you going to do? Stay in bed your whole life? That's not the Jake Gannon I know! The Jake I know pays attention to details, is brave, and I am sure he isn't going to give up that easily!"
Charlie's words were stuck in Jake's mind. "This town needs justice". He quickly realised what he wanted to do for a living.
Adulthood[]
Jake graduated from Public School 67 with high grades. After his graduation, Jake got a job in the Investigator career track. To celebrate it, Charlie gave him The Beast. He solved cases very easily and quickly climbed through the career ladder.
His love live started when Matthew Hamming hired him. Jake impressed him with ease and the two became fast friends. When Jake solved the case, Matthew kissed him in the middle of The Brightmore. He solved many more cases and completed his lifetime wish, shortly after reaching the top of his career track. He kept solving cases, but stopped for a while when he decided to settle down for a bit.
He proposed to Matthew, who said yes. He threw a successful bachelor party and got married afterwards. They went to Shang Simla on their honeymoon, where they shared many moments together and learned Martial Arts. They loved the local food, the fortune cookies and the sights. The worst part was when they returned home (Matthew's house), because it was a mess. Then, they hired one of the two best butlers of Bridgeport: Bertram Plunkett.
After a few months, they thought of having a little big addition to their house: A child. They talked a lot about it, but Matthew didn't want any kids, just to stay with the love of his life. That caused one of the biggest fights of their marriage.
Death[]
One day, Jake received a call from his grandfather. He requested his services to solve a murder, which the victim was his friend, Renee. He also developed a friendship with a scientist named Evelyn, who helped him to solve the murder. Meanwhile, Jake and Matthew argued about children, until Matthew came from the future and told him that the killer was his dear Grandpa Charlie and that he also had killed his parents.
Jake confronted Charlie in the subway station Renee was killed, and after a chase through the tracks, they reached the place Jake's parents were killed - The Prosper Room. Charlie shot him in the chest and he fell, dying. Matthew came to the scene and shot the killer and mended his relationship, accepting a clone child made of Jake's hair, named after the latter's grandfather.
Legacy[]
Jake became a legend and played as a role model for his son, Charlie. People called him as "The Bridgeport Super Sleuth" and remembered him. The youngest learned about him in school and Bridgeport became a peaceful city.
