Fanon of Preexisting Sim
This page is about a preexisting Sim in a fanon setting. This article should not be treated as an canon article. For information about the canon Sim, visit here: Kermit Landgraab
Kermit loves the way his life turned out. He founded a company, helped his hometown thrive, and even met the love of his life, Kitty Landgraab. Now how will his descendants continue the family traditions, he wonders.
Kermit Landgraab (1922 - 2002) was the husband of Kitty Landgraab. He was the co-founder of Landgraab Industries. During his lifetime he was often referred to as the founder of Sunset Valley, however the actual founders were the Goth family. He only helped build up the town. He is the father of a successful surgeon, Dr. Chester Landgraab, the grandfather of Landgraab Industries Vice President, Nancy Landgraab, and the great-grandfather of Malcolm Landgraab.
He is also known for being the great-great grandson of Simnar Landgraab, the first president of Sim-Nation.
Early life
Kermit was born during 1922 to Richard and Kimberly Landgraab before Sunset Valley was founded. He lived in a small village at the time which was the start of Sunset Valley. His father was an ancestor of the first president, making the family very rich. He spent most his childhood doing not many things. but he was great at school as a child.
In his teenage years he spent lots of time working on his schoolwork and projects. He seems very future oriented, unlike his snobby parents, whose only joy in life was being pampered at every second. He loved the thought of the future. In his senior year of high school, he met a girl in named Katherine, but she went by Kitty. She had the same ideas that he had about the future. They became fast friends and study partners. Kermit, being the hopeless romantic he is couldn't help but ask her out on a date and she said yes. They went on a date to a well-reviewed restaurant and Kitty couldn't help but fall for him as well. After the date, they kissed and Kermit had a feeling she would be the one. He soon graduated high school.
Adult life
After high, he set up Landgraab Industries as co-founders with Kitty. It was a slightly small company at the beginning, but it only grew from there. After that he spent tens of thousands of dollars he gained from sales to set up small shops in town, and the town thrived after that. His parents died from starvation when they went missing by unknown circumstances, this saddened him. A few months after, he proposed to Kitty. She accepted and they had what was referred to as the biggest wedding that the town had seen. After seeing the sunset in front on the beach during the wedding, he proclaimed to name the town "Sunset Valley". No one disagreed and that is what the town was soon named.
Kermit and Kitty's relationship was so strong, it was no surprise they would soon be expecting a child! They named him Chester. Although they were very excited about his birth, they had jobs to attend to. And often had a baby-sitter come by and watch him. He hired many employees at his industry and became even more successful.
After Chester got married, Kermit and Kitty were close to being elders. They had retired from their job. After the birth of Nancy his granddaughter, he liked to take care of her with his daughter in law and wife. Chester was often too busy to take care of her however. Queenie became mayor of Sunset Valley one day. However a fire had struck the Landgraab household in 1984 and Queenie perished in it. It was a huge surprise for the whole family. Kermit attended the funeral, like most people in the town did. Much later, in 2002, he died of old age. He did complete his lifetime wish and is now buried with his wife, son, and daughter-in-law.
