Biography
Maria thinks she is better than a lot of people and doesn't like being around her slobby, poor twin sister Rose. Maria hopes to have quite a few children. She remembers helping her mother raise her younger brother and sister while her dad would be away in war.
Maria Charleston (née Simmons) is an AdultSim who lives in Sunset Valley with her husband and son. She is the first born child of Bill and Brenda Simmons. She has a twin sister, Rose. The two are complete opposites, but both share a passion for cooking. She has great relationship with all her family, except for Rose who she only has a moderate relationship with. She currently only has one child, but hopes to have more in the future.
Maria was born ten minutes before her twin, Rose. Brenda went into labor while Bill was fishing at the beach. Brenda had to be taken to hospital by her best friend Bessie Clavell. Maria was born without a problem, but they had to have an emergency C-Section for Rose as the umbilical cord was wrapped around her neck. Unfortunately, Bill did not make it to see the birth of his daughters. Both Bill and Brenda decided to make Bessie and Buster Clavell the godparents.
Both Maria and Rose went to public school. Maria was far more popular than her sister and they often fought about it. Maria had good grades and always did her homework. She was invited to and hosted many slumber parties. When Maria was mid-way through childhood. Her mother became pregnant. During her mother's pregnancy, everything went smoothly until Bill was called by the military to fight in battle. This left the family devastated as Bill would not see his third child be born either. Maria and Rose soon learned to cook for their mother and loved it. All they would want to do is cook. Brenda went into labor in the middle of the night. Both girls were heavy sleepers back then, but Brenda managed to wake Maria up. Maria ran to the phone and called the Clavells. Bessie came over and took Brenda to the hospital immediately. Maria and Rose waited anxiously in the waiting room of the hospital. The twins were hoping for a baby sister. The two could not wait to hear what the baby was. Soon Bessie walked out of the room asking the girls to come in. Their mother was holding a baby girl in her hands. Brenda named the child Wendi after her mother, Wendi Buckton who died when Brenda was a child. Maria and Rose helped their mother with young Wendi until their grandfather Jeremy Buckton came to help his daughter with her new born. Both Brenda and Jeremy were amazed that Maria helped so much during Bill's absence and managed to stay on the honor roll, but Rose's grades slipped from a B down to a D. When Bill returned. Brenda and him discussed sending Maria and Rose to a boarding school. Bill applied both the girls for a scholarship at military school, but only Maria got through. Maria finished primary school in Community School For The Gifted and started secondary school at Fort Starch. This made Rose grow to dislike her sisters because of Wendi, her parents discovered Maria's gift and Maria would constantly outshine her.
Teenage Years[]
Maria made many friends at boarding school, most notably her best friend Justine Keaton. They always hung out and hardly ever fought, but when both girls had a crush on Marty Keaton they began to fight a lot. When Marty eventually asked Justine out, Maria physically attacked Justine. Maria got a weeks detention at the school and was grounded by her parents for the weekend. While grounded, Maria realized she had gotten over Marty and all this fighting was stupid. The next school day, Maria apologized to Justine and the two became best friends again. Maria was soon asked out by Xander Clavell, she was shocked and happily agreed. Maria and Xander went to prom together. Maria contuinued to have good grades in school too. Maria's life was great, but then she heard the news that her grandfather had died. Maria was miserable for ages, but soon learned except it. She was also happy to see her first brother be born, Martin Simmons. She graduated with great marks and went on to be a young adult.
After School[]
After school, Maria, like her sister Rose went into cooking. As it is her dream, but unlike Rose, Maria was employed by the bistro, not the diner. Maria began to become a mature women and soon got sick of Xander's antics and hard party life style (she was unaware he was a criminal) so she broke up with him. Due to his Commitment Issues, he didn't care at all and went on with his life, but Maria was heart-broken, even though she broke up with him, she knew it was best for her. Maria began to excel at her cooking career and soon met the eyes of a handsome young man.
Adult Years[]
Maria was doing well at her career and began to get a lot of raises and promotions. She was soon asked out by local city council member, Bryan Charleston. The two began dating and soon became boyfriend and girlfriend. Maria was also a bridesmaid for Marty and Justine's wedding. She was so happy for Justine and Marty. Bryan and Maria soon decided to move in together and bought the nice little home next to Jamie Jolina's house. Not long after did Bryan propose while gazing at the stars at the beach. Maria was so shocked she almost fainted as the ring slid on her finger. The two got married at the same beach. The two made enough money to buy a big house for lots of kids. Maria and Bryan started trying for kids and soon Maria became pregnant. She later gave birth to a son Bryan Charleston II.
