Nicole Smyth
Biography
Nicole has been a shy but ambitious single mother since her teens. She followed her parents' footsteps into the Navy.
Nicole Smyth is a single woman living in her parents' former Pleasantview home at the beginning of the game. Nicole nears elderhood and has a son, Cody, who is married to Angela Pleasant. Unlike her parents Lisa and Eric, she is very shy and reserved. Nicole never married. Nicole was an only child.
Nicole was born at the Port Simasota Naval Hospital. Both of her parents were Naval officers, and although Port Simasota was their home base and they owned a nice home in Pleasantview, they never stayed in one area long. This may have contributed to Nicole's shyness.
While in high school, Nicole met Don Lothario, and had a one night stay with him. Unbeknownst to him, she became pregnant and had Cody. In fact, Don didn't even remember Nicole until adult hood, after he was already engaged to Cassandra Goth. Being a young mother, Nicole was unable to attend university, which was a great disappointment to her because she is a knowledge aspiration Sim.
As an adult, Nicole joined the Navy, a creating a second generation of Smyth Sailors. Although Nicole loves her child dearly, she is more focused on her career. Nicole sent Cody to Simasota Military Academy, a military boarding school, when he became a teen. While at the academy, Cody reconnected with an old childhood friend, the now infamous Angela Pleasant, and Nicole's motherly instincts showed when he started a relationship with Angela which Nicole disapproved of. Although they eventually begin to get along, Nicole does not trust Angela.
