Alec Tan is one of the pre-made teenage townies who resides in Bitville, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. He can be made playable by aging him up with another teenage Sim, and then befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Alec is employed in the Slacker career as a Gas Station Attendant at the start of the game. He is a C student enrolled in Public School at the start of the game.

As far as personality, Alec is quite playful and somewhat nice. But he is somewhat sloppy, shy, and lazy. When it comes to his skills, Alec is halfway towards maximizing the creativity skill, but he doesn't have a particularly high level in any of the other skills. He is mostly interested in Environment, Travel, and Work. Alec has the same facial structure as Ricky Cormier. His relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game, as he has none by default. He has a preset gender preference of +10 to females, -10 to males.
