Here is a list of premade pet breeds in The Sims: Unleashed, The Sims 2: Pets, The Sims 3: Pets, The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs, and The Sims 4: Horse Ranch.
The Sims: Unleashed[]
The Sims: Unleashed does not contain a Create-A-Pet feature. Pets are adopted at pet stores located in the neighborhood, with several pre-defined cat and dog breeds available. Although no references to breed names can be found in-game, the texture files for pets are named for the breeds they represent.
Certain breeds were only made available through downloadable packs offered on the now-defunct official website for the game. Additionally, a pink poodle dog breed is included with The Sims: Superstar. Further breeds were added exclusively to The Sims Online, some of which are exotic or fantastical. Although exclusive to The Sims Online, it is possible for a player to import the files for these breeds into The Sims: Unleashed.

The Sims 2: Pets[]
There are only dogs and cats which can be customised in almost any way. Hamsters and fish can be purchased too, but they cannot be customised. Most of these pets can be customised using unlockables for some, for example fur colours. There can be up to five pets in a household; additional pets cannot be bred or adopted if there are already five in the household.
Dog breeds are either large or small. Cats are only one size.
