The entrance leads to the stairs to the second floor. The cafeteria is to the right of the stairs. To the left, there is a residential wing with two rooms and a small bathroom. On the second floor, there are two residential wings, which are identical to the one on the first floor. The dorm's lounge area is in the center of the floor. Stairs in the rear give access to the flat roof.

Rooms in Lam Plaza appear to be slightly larger than in most other dorms. Unlike most other dorms, the bathrooms are not separated into men's rooms and women's rooms, but since each one can only be used by one Sim at a time, that does not matter.

The entrance area has seating, and leads directly to the cafeteria, which has an espresso machine and a coffeemaker. The cafeteria has a door to the outside. The stairs to the second floor are to the right of the entrance area. To the right of the stairs, there is a hallway with 4 rooms.

On the second floor, the stairs lead to a recreation and study area. This opens onto a deck which lines the front and left side of the floor. There is an easel on the deck, and it has stairs which lead to the ground. The bathrooms are to the front and front left of the lounge, and the other 4 rooms are to the right of the stairs.

There is an Astrowonder telescope outside of the dorm.

The main entrance leads to an entry hall. The cafeteria is to the right of the hall, and is quite large. The 9 rooms are to the left of the entry hall, and a few of them are along the rear wall. This area connects to the rear wing of the dorm, which contains a recreation lounge, the bathrooms, and a small room with an open desk, a computer, easel, and chess table. There is a very small open-air courtyard which has doors to the cafeteria and the recreation area.

While most pre-made dorms have at least one bookcase, there are no bookcases in this dorm.

Mille House Dorms[]

The layout of this dorm is essentially the same as that of the Lam Plaza Dormitory, except that it has an extra floor, which gives it 10 rooms instead of Lam Plaza's 6. The second-floor lounge area has a TV set, a computer, a chess table, and an arcade game. The third-floor lounge area has an easel, a bookcase, and a mini-fridge and microwave. The fourth floor is actually the flat roof, but there are two empty rooms on it, so it is counted as a floor.

Boggs Hall Dorms[]

The entrance to this dorm leads to a large study area, with many bookcases. To the right of this, there is a computer room. To the left, there are two bathrooms, one for men and one for women. There are no showers in these bathrooms. Also on the left-hand side of the floor, there is a large recreation lounge. Unlike the TV areas in most dorms, this one has a two-tile, large-screen set and a video game console. Stairs to the second floor are on the left- and right-hand sides.

On the second floor, the 12 rooms are arranged on three sides of a study/lounge area in the center of the floor. The fourth side, the right-hand side, is taken up by a bathroom with toilet stalls and two shower rooms, one for men and one for women. In one dorm room, one side of the wall has no paint on it. This can easily be fixed by going into build mode and painting the wall the same color as the rest of the room.
