Gidia Patel is one of the pre-made deceased ancestral Sims who resided during his lifetime in Belladonna Cove, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: Apartment Life. He was the husband of Priya Patel, the father of Karan Patel, the grandfather of Ramir Patel, and the great-grandfather of his grandson's unborn child. Gidia is completely resurrectable, even though he doesn't have a grave. He has the Popularity aspiration, and the Taurus zodiac sign. As far as personality, Gidia is very playful, and a little bit neat and outgoing. But he is quite lazy and somewhat grouchy.
According to Gidia's SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was blond before it turned grey. According to his age data, he had 12 days left in the elder life stage when he died. Gidia's facial structure is almost if not identical to the 3rd Maxis face template in Create a Sim. Unlike several other married ancestors from Apartment Life who have memories of their spouses, he only has Mystery Sim memories. However Gidia still has memories of Karan's birth, and his grandson getting engaged and married.
