Gretchen King is one of the pre-made NPC firefighters who resides in the Free Play version of Four Corners, one of the neighborhoods shipped with The Sims Life Stories. The other two firefighters are Joe Wade and Irfan Zaidi. She can be made playable by befriending and asking her to move in, or by marrying her. Gretchen has short red hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin. She is a Fortune Sim with the Scorpio zodiac sign.

As far as personality, Gretchen is extremely active, somewhat neat, and a little bit playful. But she is very shy and grouchy. When it comes to Gretchen's skill points, she has maximized the body and cleaning skills, and is close to maximizing the cooking skill. She is mostly interested in Weather, Travel, Sports, and Work. Gretchen has the same facial structure as Alicia Ajjanagadde. Her turn ons/offs are randomized at the start of the game. It is only referenced in the game files that she has no turn ons/offs.
