Plum & Bob are two personified PlumbBobs who are a running gag in The Sims offices at Redwood, CA. They first appeared May 3, 2010 on The Sims 3 Facebook page.[1] They often appear in silly situations with punchline captions. They also started appearing in Twitter updates and on August 27, 2010[2] they got the job of hosting the official The Sims 3 Tumblr page

Bob: My ambition is to be a firefighter! Plum, go cook something.  Plum: Hey Bob, you're on my team, ok? Bob: Ok, but who are we going to play against, then?  Plum: Is there something on my head? Bob: Uh...  Plum: Think we can look as cool as that guy when we play?  Bob: See, just copy what this guy's doing.  Plum: We should get kidnapped by the game team more often!  Bob: I wanted mint.  Plum: What are you doing? Bob: Packing up some goodies for more giveaways. Hand me a poster tube, will you?  Bob: No, no, no, he’s got to look at the keychain like he MEANS it. He’s pondering. Plum: Pondering over what? Is he looking for his car keys? Bob: *sigh* |
