The Show My Ride Display by Exotremo Cars is a type of display surface introduced in The Sims 2: Open for Business. It is found under Surfaces → Misc., and is only available on community lots. It is the only surface, other than driveways and driveway extensions, that a car can be placed on, and the only one that is available on community lots.
The Show My Ride Display allows players to place cars on owned community lots, which makes it possible for a Sim to go into business as a car dealer. Since it only functions as a display surface, Sims cannot drive onto it or off of it. A Sim who buys a car from a business will not be able to use it until the player takes it out of the Sim's inventory and places it on a driveway.
While the display can be placed on an unowned community lot, cars cannot be purchased on community lots until Wholesale mode is enabled. A car dealership, as such, cannot be run from an unowned community lot, and can only be stocked on owned community lots.
