On my game..a friend was at my house. When he left a window popped up that said "You invited me to spend the night, but didn't let me get any sleep! I'm leaving!" Now it will NOT stop. No, I don't believe so. I don't know what a mod is. & no custom content either. I just downloaded Sims 2 Double Deluxe-it includes Nightlife & Celebration (which ive never tried either of those)-to my computer, played a few times, & now that pop up about me not letting that man sleep keeps popping up. When I go to call a sim, he's not in the options to choose. Kinda like he's still at my house..but he's not. ): 76.7.135.132 (talk) 20:21, April 27, 2017 (UTC)
- That sounds a bit like he's stuck on the lot somewhere but isn't visible on the lot (i.e. an off-world loiterer). Can you please try the following:
- Download and install the FFS Lot Debugger (link to download). If you need help with installing custom content, please see this page, which contains very helpful guides that walk you through the process.
- Start the game. After the game is finished loading, you will see a warning box that tells you that custom content is installed in your game. By default, custom content is disabled. To enable it, click on the option that says "Enable Custom Content". Once that is done, you need to exit the game and restart it in order for custom content to be enabled. (Don't be too worried about the message telling you that custom content may cause problems in your game. Not all custom content causes problems.)
- Go to the lot where you're seeing the problem in. Go into buy mode, purchase the FFS Lot Debugger (It is located in the "Miscellaneous -> Miscellaneous" section of buy mode) and place it somewhere on your lot. It looks like a black box with the Batman symbol on it.
- Click on the FFS Lot Debugger, select "Nuke", and select "Offworld Loiterers".
- Now play the lot and see if the popups continue. If you do not see the option to nuke offworld loiterers, or if the popup spam continues, let me know. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 22:33, April 27, 2017 (UTC)
Okay, I downloaded the FFS Lot Debugger on my computer. But when I opened my game, nothing popped up about custom content. When I went to the lot with problems..I went into Buy mode, then miscellaneous-miscellaneous, but the debugger wasn't there. Only 3 things were, I believe trash cans.
