I guess that Sunny in the sims 3 died, and then he ate ambrosia, later, he married and got a son, this son wanted to be a clown like him, this son was.. Tragic Clown was a really happy guy, with a depressed girlfriend who only found her joy when she was painting. She wanted to be a proper artist, and she had mastered the Painting skill. Tragic had a good job and earned lots of money, giving his girlfriend lots of presents, but she was still very sad. One day she had to paint a painting for someone and asked her boyfriend to dress up as a clown (his outfit/hair/makeup in TS1) but the outfit made him feel depressed so his face looked sad. She was so pleased with it that she didn't give it to the man, but gave it to Tragic. After that, the girlfriend's life started to be boring and rubbish, so she killed herself. Tragic cried for days and days, quitting his job and just staying at home, crying and looking at the picture. He wrote a suicide note, saying he drowned himself, but he actually ran away with the picture. He stayed in a motel, then sold the painting to an artist so it got sold all over the world. Nobody found Tragic's body, obviously, but they still made a gravestone for him. Tragic returned to Neighbourhood 1, remembering about his clown costume in the painting, so he decided to become a clown. However, he was so depressed that he failed to make people laugh.
