On the second floor, there is a small library, a shopping area for magazines and games, a cafe, and a public washroom for each gender.

Type: Community
Value: §207,285
Size: 50x40
For all your shopping needs, Mirage is the place to go.

Mirage Shopping Center is a multi-purpose building with 4 shops, each of which has its own entrance. The restrooms are in the middle, and are entered from outside as well. There is a parking lot in front, but like all parking lots in The Sims 2, it is only decorative. However, Sims will tend to walk around it unless the player leads them through it a bit at a time.

As seen from the street, the first shop to the left of the restrooms is a two-story clothing store. There is also a small reading area on the first floor. The second shop is a grocery. The first shop to the right of the restrooms is an espresso bar and magazine shop. The last shop is an arcade and game store, which also sells personal electronics.

The shops on each side of the restroom connect to one another, In fact, the cash register for the grocery not only serves the clothing store, but may be seen as closer to the magazine rack than the register in the arcade/game store.

DormitoriesEdit

Oasis DormitoryEdit

Type: Dormitory
Size: 30x30
Number of floors: 1

This is a small, 5-room dormitory. It has two small bathrooms, one for men and one for women, which can only be used by one Sim at a time. The right-hand side of the building is taken up by the cafeteria and a small lounge area with a television, bookcase, easel, and computer. There is a mini fridge near the cafeteria.

The cafeteria is small, and only has two islands. The cafeteria worker will not make food unless both of them are vacant.

Desert DormitoryEdit

Desert Dormitory (8 Rooms)
Type: Dormitory
Size: 30x30
Number of floors: 2

The entrance area has seating, and leads directly to the cafeteria, which has an espresso machine and a coffeemaker. The cafeteria has a door to the outside. The stairs to the second floor are to the right of the entrance area. To the right of the stairs, there is a hallway with 4 rooms.

On the second floor, the stairs lead to a recreation and study area. This opens onto a deck which lines the front and left side of the floor. There is an easel on the deck, and it has stairs which lead to the ground. The bathrooms are to the front and front left of the lounge, and the other 4 rooms are to the right of the stairs.

There is an Astrowonder telescope outside of the dorm.

This area connects to the rear wing of the dorm, which contains a recreation lounge, the bathrooms, and a small study room. There is a very small open-air courtyard which has doors to the cafeteria and the recreation area.

Fiesta Hall DormsEdit

Fiesta Hall Dorms
Fiesta Hall Dorms (16 Rooms)
Type: Dormitory
Size: 30x30
Number of floors: 3

The entrance leads directly to the stairs to the second floor. On each side of the stairs, there is a small bathroom and 4 rooms. This pattern is duplicated on the second floor. The cafeteria is on the first floor, behind the stairs. The second floor has a lounge/study area.

The rooms appear to be smaller than usual. Unlike most other dorms, none of them have dressers or computers. Also unlike most other dorms, the bathrooms are not separated into men's rooms and women's rooms, but since each one can only be used by one Sim at a time, that does not matter.
