Added by XXMorbidaXx How to get a Magical Growth
Edit
To get a magical growth, a family must have cast 15 spells or charms while living on a residential lot, or 10 while living on a Magic Town residential lot. All spells and charms cast by adult family members count toward the number needed for a new growth, as do uses of the Teleport and Extinguish abilities, even if they were cast on community lots. However, spells and charms used by children do not count. After these numbers have been reached, the growths will start appearing. However, there are game modifications available for download that will allow a player to buy them instead of waiting for them.
Types of Magical Growth
Edit
- Crystals
Sims with wands can use these ability rocks to gain special abilities which can be used to entertain (or try to entertain) other Sims, teleport to an area, and even extinguish fires.
- Plants
These are plants that grow without any attention. The Root of the Problem is for decorative purposes only, and has no effect on gameplay.[1] The Solar Powered GEranium can be used as an end table. While Sims won't put things on it, the player can use Buy mode or Build mode to place things on it, and Sims will use things that have been put on it.
The beanstalk starts small and grows until it reaches a pre-determined maximum height. A beanstalk does not grow at a steady rate. Rather, each segment of a beanstalk counts as a separate magical growth. If it grows tall enough, it becomes climbable and a Sim can climb up to a secret lot in the clouds to steal Magic Beans from a sleeping giant (a Sim version of Will Wright).
