Mama Hick is a pre-created, playable Sim in The Sims who appeared in the Unleashed expansion pack along with her son, Elden, and their three dogs, Bobo, Duke and Leroy. Presumably, "Mama" is not her given name, even if it's how she's known.
However, in The Sims 2, Mama and her family did not appear, but it is possible to recreate her. Don Lothario, the town's womanizer, also had a paternal grandmother named Mama Lothario, but the two are not the same person.
Mama was once the rich and famous Miss SimCity, but then she lost her savings to her Psychic Phone Friend. Now only a few Sims remember who she was in the past. It's clear that she was once married, since she had a son, but what happened to her husband is not mentioned. She has dark red hair, wears a blue nightgown with palm-like patterns, a few rollers, heavy makeup, a blue cap and a pair of pink slippers. Mama is in the Culinary Career track. She is assumed to be middle-aged. Presumably, she would be an elder if recreated in The Sims 2, and a young adult if recreated in The Sims 3.
