Nancy Landgraab is a pre-made Sim, living in Sunset Valley in The Sims 3 . She's a descendant of the wealthy Landgraab family which built the town of Sunset Valley. Her husband is Geoffrey, who took her last name when they married, and they have one child, Malcolm Landgraab. She's possibly the cousin of Malcolm Landgraab II and second cousin of Malcolm Landgraab III. So, in that case, the original Malcolm Landgraab from The Sims (console) would be her uncle.

A second recent possibility is that her son is the Malcolm Landgraab from The Sims (console), making her the mother of the villainous landlord and the grandmother of Dudley Landgraab and Mimi Landgraab. However, neither of these theories have been confirmed.

Nancy has an obsession over her job, social status, and her looks, which gives her little time for her family, but she wants to prepare her son to inherit their money when he grows up. She's enemies with Vita Alto, and has a rivalry with Nick Alto as well. She is not, however, in a feud with the Alto heiress, Holly.

Both Nick Alto and Nancy Landgraab are vice-presidents in the Business career, and they start off as two ambitious workaholics in a tough competition to become the next CEO (in the beginning of the game, Gunther Goth is the CEO). However, their rivalry hurts both their careers, as it lowers one of the metrics for promotion, "relationship with coworkers." In some games, Nick is Nancy's boss, and/or vice versa, though they always have the same job position. And Nancy would imminently fire Nick, and vice versa.

She will often become a CEO in the Business career, fulfilling her lifetime wish, if story progression is turned on. If she is left alone by the player, Nancy is often seen having more children. Due to her husband's Family-Oriented trait, which can disrupt her career progression and conflict with her Ambitious trait.
