Playability Deceased
Neighborhood Desiderata Valley

Noriko Aspir (née Kimura) is a pre-made deceased ancestral Sim who resided during her lifetime in Desiderata Valley, the neighborhood shipped with The Sims 2: FreeTime. She was the daughter of Jiro and Kumiko Kimura, the wife of Luis Aspir, the mother of Victor Aspir, and the grandmother of Pauline Aspir. Noriko is completely resurrectable, and at the start of the game she is kept in an urn at her family's home. She has the Popularity aspiration, and the Aquarius zodiac sign. As far as personality, Noriko is quite playful and somewhat nice. But she is somewhat sloppy, shy, and lazy.

According to Noriko's SimDNA in SimPE, her hair was black before it turned grey. According to her age data, she had 17 days left in the elder life stage when she died. Noriko uses the 8th Maxis face template in Create a Sim, except the ears which use the 10th face template. Also the eyes are higher up, and the jaw is longer than on the default face. However the jaw is only longer on adult and elder females, which may mean that the jaw was genetically passed down, as this oddity generally only occurs on Sims whose facial features were genetically passed down. Noriko's SimDNA in SimPE shows that her dominant skin tone range is for light skin, while her recessive skin tone range is for medium skin. However both her dominant and recessive alleles are for medium skin.

Judging by Noriko's name and appearance, she and her family are of Japanese descent. While the Aspir/Una family tree lists some Sims from their grandparents' generation, hers are unknown. Also, as hinted by the Aspir family description, Luis may want to resurrect Noriko, owing to the Genie's lamp located in the house's loft. Considering she can be revived, there is a possibility that Noriko is meant to be brought back to life in the story. However, the player may choose her ultimate fate.

Noriko is a Japanese name. It comes from the words nori, meaning 'law' or 'ceremony' depending on how it's written, and ko, meaning 'child'.

This Sim can be brought back to life using the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, the genie lamp or an evil witch's spell. For more information, read Game guide:Bringing Sims back to life.
