This is the list of Guitar skill opportunities. Completing any opportunities that reward Sims money will count toward the tally for Guitar Star skill challenge regardless of repeatability. Completing the skill challenge will reward Sim a random unlearned master track composition.

A local politician is holding a fund raiser for her supporters at the restaurant and wants to hire you as the evening's musical entertainment. Travel to the restaurant with your guitar before the event ends and play some notes for the willing donors. Surely there'll be some money left over for you!

A large group of local musicians have pooled their resources to fund a guitar competition with a behemoth cash prize for the winner! Travel to the Theatre to compete before the competition ends. If you’re in a good enough mood and your guitar abilities are up to snuff, you just might take home that cash prize!
Notes: The base chance of winning the opportunity is 25%, modified by up to +25% at level 10 Charisma skill and +25% at maximum mood.
