The Paranormal career track is available with The Sims: Livin' Large and The Sims 2: University. Its main theme is fortune telling and connecting to the spiritual world, hence the name. The career track doesn't return in The Sims 3, nor in any of its expansion packs. However, the Fortune Teller career from The Sims 3: Supernatural is very similar to this career track, sharing some career levels, under different names. For example, the "Tarot Card Reader" level is basically the "Tarot Card Shark" level from Supernatural.

The Sims 2 Edit

The Paranormal career requires a college education. Thus, there is no part-time career for teens and elders. If Apartment Life is installed, Techs are likely to work in this career. The reward object is the Resurrect-O-Nomitron, available when promoted to Medium. It can be used to resurrect dead Sims. The college majors associated with this career are Philosophy, Psychology, and Physics.
