Pascal Curious comes from a family of three boys and one girl, Jenny Smith, Vidcund Curious, Lazlo Curious, and himself. His father, Glarn Curious, also had twin girls Chloe and Lola (both alien-Sim hybrids).

Pascal has black hair, wears big round glasses, a black shirt, black-gray pants and sandals. When the game begins in Strangetown, he has been impregnated by aliens after being abducted. His maternity garments are a blue shirt, light gray sweat pants and sneakers. He is friends with Nervous Subject.

Pascal is extremely neat and active, nicer than Lazlo and Vidcund, but unlike either of them, has no playful points. When their lot is first played, his belly will do the trimester 'pop' even though Pascal is five hours away from giving birth; this is due to the lot being reset. He will often give birth a few sim minutes after Vidcund returns from being abducted.

As a teenager, he lost a fight to General Buzz Grunt and got rejected by Circe Beaker for his "first kiss," which is why he's enemies with Loki Beaker, who's Circe's husband.

His glasses are available in CAS but only for children. If they are removed you cannot attempt to get them back.

In The Sims 2, Pascal and Brandi Broke are the only two playable base-game characters who start out pregnant.

Pascal is a name of Latin origin that is commonly used in French-speaking countries, Netherlands and Germany. A pascal is also a unit of pressure, referring to his studious background.

To be curious means to be interested in exploring and learning about one's surrounding environment. Curiosity is also used to represent a thirst for knowledge, referring to Pascal's aspiration.

His name could also be derived from Blaise Pascal a French mathematician,physicist and inventor.
