Playability Townie
Neighborhood Downtown

Remington Jitmakusol is one of the pre-made downtownies in The Sims 2: Nightlife. He can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. Remington is employed in the Slacker career at level 10,[1] and he is mainly interested in Food, Culture, Paranormal, Crime, and Work.

Remington is Mr. Big, one of the few special downtownies. As Mr. Big, he has no nice points, but he has 10 outgoing points. He has autonomous reactions, such as primping, that other Sims either do not display or rarely display.[2] Sometimes, Remington may invite playable Sims on outings with him and his contacts, which can be beneficial to the playable Sim's career. His name is randomized when Downtown is generated. the name "Remington Jitmakusol" is only referenced in the game files.

Ironically, Remington has an extremely low interest in money, even though he's one of the richest downtownies in the game and his aspiration is Fortune. He has a slight preference for women, unlike most townies who are neutral towards both genders. Sometimes when played, Remington has the option to "wolf whistle" at other Sims, even if University isn't installed. This interaction is often done autonomously by evil mascots.

  1. Even though Remington is always employed at Level 10 in the Slacker career when he appears in-game, the SimPE game files reveal that he starts off unemployed.
  2. Sims may primp autonomously if they are both extremely Neat and extremely Outgoing, but his Neat score is too low to trigger this.
