Tara is quite the scholar. She's happiest when she's learning something new. She's been trying to tutor her friend, Justin, but he's so easily distracted. Still, she does enjoy spending time with him.
Tara DeBateau is a pre-created Sim shipped with Apartment Life in the EP's neighborhood, Belladonna Cove. Tara is a Knowledge Sim with red hair and brown eyes. She was adopted by Armand DeBateau when she was a child; now, she is a teenager and she has a good relationship with her acquaintance Justin Cleveland, whom she helps out with his homework. This may mean that they will start a romantic relationship soon after the game begins. Being adopted, her memories show she learned her toddler skills from the Mystery Sim, who is usually used for player-created Sims who are young adults [TS2:U] or older. If a family adopts a child in-game, though, they will not have memories of learning their toddler skills, or any other memories of their birth parents.
Strangely enough, Tara has a good relationship (not friends, but not short of that level) with her father's ex-wife, Jessica Peterson. Some players have used this to get Armand and Jessica back together.
