I claimed to have gone inactive for a few days, but, out of boredom with real life, I decided to come back. I see that being inactive does hurt you chances, as I read BobNewbie's request. I always pushed for the fanon wiki and Canon wiki to merge, and now that it is, I feel like I need to do this. I do have major experience with fanon wikis, such as Kingdom Hearts Kaizen, my fanon story over at Kingdom Hearts fanon wiki has received critical acclaim. Another story of mine, Strangetown, here we come, is a critical story I'd like to expand as well. On the Avatar Wiki, I have a story there as well, known as Avatar Forever. I've been on The Sims Wiki for nearly a year, and I know all the templates. I know what to do with fanon, and I'm capable of deleting alleged spam fanon (There's a difference between the two). Therefore, I request along with DarthCookie, BobNewbie, and Guilherme. [Ѧüя◎ґ]
- Just an FYI, saying you're leaving is different from saying you're taking a break. Even then, saying you're leaving multiple times is where the real issue lies, in my opinion. - While you have done a good job on the wiki, I have a few concerns about Auror's behaviour. While she has improved her behaviour, her most recent block was December 23rd for edit warring, which has frequently occured with Auror. Also, I have noticed that she went inactive and then returned to post this request and hasn't edited since, which can make us think that Auror may get the rights and leave. - About my block in December: I was foolish. I made a mistake, which could have been easily avoided, but, it wasn't, and I truly feel ashamed of that. I really wished it didn't happen. This user had posted pictures on a player stories page, in which, some of them were a bit gory, and they were taking up space. After Dharden had a talk with the user, I decided it was okay to remove them. This led to my block. That certain user, despite having set up a page about that certain story and adding the gory images there, continued to add the images, and I removed them. After this happened, that user was given a warning, and I received a week block by an admin. That, was truly devastating. I wasn't mad at the admin who blocked me, but, I was mad at myself for doing something I knew I shouldn't have done. I knew that after that user undid my edit, I should've directed the commentary to an admin, but I'm stubborn, and continued the Edit War. It was my fault, and I still feel foolish about the block. I haven't been editing The Sims Wiki, just because I fell out of boredom. The wiki has grown considerably since I've been here, and I'm proud of all the users that made it's current shape. I am now returning to full activity, and my break is fully over. About what Walkerguy94 said: I'm actually surprised her returned to the wiki. I'm glad he has his own views on this whole thing. It helps to learn what I need to learn, and how I can improve. That was actually another reason I went inactive. I felt foolish, thinking I could be someone like LostinRiverview, or even a_morris. - A few months ago, I disagreed with Auror on basis of how she behaved. She was what I thought rude and stubborn. Yes, those are very bad traits for an admin to have. But don't we all have mistakes? I made a mistake and started a fight with her, which was wrong of me too. Auror continues to fall into positions where she seems to edit war, but the way I see it, she is just a little but stubborn and wants to improve those pages. I am supporting her because IMHO, she has the potential to do a great job. But I ask her to do one thing; to use a friendlier tone when approaching users. - Oppose - no disrespect intended but a) you don't have rollback rights and b) you are still making basic errors with fanon, such as writing it in the wrong namespace. Also, to get rollback you may wish to edit in the mainspace, even if it is just fixing errors or something as it would help you. I would like to place a request to become a fanon admin. Some reasons why I believe that I could be a good admin include:
- I get on to the wiki everyday
- I try to be kind and considerate to all users
- Even though I am new, I am somewhat known by the community
- I have an anti-vandalism record
- In the short time I have been here, I have more than 1000 edits, and around 1500 outright on all wikis
- I have rollback rights
- I have a clean record, I have not received a warning or block
