The Sims Wiki News
Week of June 14th, 2015

It seems like June just started yesterday, and already we're halfway through. Oh my, now's the time for exams too! Allow me to procrastinate and stray from my studies in order to bring you this week's news post, which consists of...

The Sims
The Sims 4: Perfect Patio Stuff to come out June 16, 2015!

The Sims 4: Perfect Patio Stuff will be released on June 16, 2015![1] Hot tubs are finally making a comeback, and guess what? For the first time ever, children can use the hot tub![2] Well... it was about time...

Arrgh, let us wear our eyepatches!

Patch 20 came out on June 11 and brings with it Newcrest, a new world for The Sims 4, along with the return of welcome wagons.[3] Pretty much stuff that should've been in the base release, but oh well, at least it's better than having to pay for an expansion pack for this stuff. Always remember to uninstall all mods and custom content before installing the patch, and to run the game at least once without your mods and custom content after installing the patch.[4]

Slash 50% off The Sims 4 titles on Origin! Sale ends June 22!

Get your machetes and get ready to chop that price tag into bits! Origin's "Live to Play Sale" chops 50% off The Sims 4 titles (except Luxury Party Stuff). If you've been thinking about getting The Sims 4, now might be the time if you want to keep more money in your pocket. Sale ends June 22, so don't sit on your hands![5]

Origin changing the way The Sims 3 appears

Origin is combining The Sims 3 and its army of expansions into one game tile. To view the expansion packs you currently have, you'll have to right-click on the tile and select "View Game Details." You can then manage your The Sims 3 stuff on that screen. You might find this change to be a bit neater, or more troublesome. Either way, it's a change.[6]
