Greetings, fellow Simmers! Welcome to The Sims Wiki News. I'm K6ka, and I'll be your host for this evening. Let's talk about what has happened to The Sims and The Sims Wiki in the past week or so.
- Gamescom reveals new fact about The Sims 4: Get Together — clubbin' Sims can break the rules
At gamescom, EA revealed that Sims in a club can supersede the logic that free will normally foists on them. You can set certain rules for clubs to govern not just who gets in and who gets out, what the members wear and any age restrictions, but what the members should act like. For instance, if Nice Sims join a Fight Club, they might let themselves loose of their personality and jump into a cloud of flying dust. This behavior only lasts while the Sim is in a club gathering, so they'll be back to being Mr. Goody Two Shoes or Ms. Hides Face Behind Japanese Fan once they get home.
Clubs can currently have 10 rules (5 encouraged, 5 discouraged), which isn't too much to make clubs plain like buttered noodles, or too little to make clubs oppressive.[1]

Battle 126 has commenced! This round, we have Tara Kat vs. Tara DeBateau.
Tara Kat is the daughter of Ginia Kat, who we can see in The Sims: Unleashed living with her family of cats. Tara has kept the tradition alive, and she's happy to have Mickey, Samantha, and Faline so close to her. Plus, cats are pretty adorable, right? Any animal rights activist would love her.
Tara DeBateau is the adopted child of Armand DeBateau, who couldn't have been happier to raise her. She's a promising young scholar, much like Dirk Dreamer, and she does enjoy spending time with Justin Cleveland, even though he's a bit too messy and messed up to want to be tutored. Tara is close to being friends with Jessica Peterson, Armand's ex-wife. Will that bring the two together again?
