Written to a Pharrell/Daft Punk song.

Yo! It's that time of the week where we nitpick through the internet archives to give you relevant news.

The Sims news

Once again there's very little news relating to the series. Google just listed a topless model and the CEO of Blackberry if I searched for news for The Sims.

Poll

Whilst completely irrelevant to The Sims, I found this article on a 13 year old spending £4000 on FIFA 14 microtransactions. In a similar way to store content for The Sims 3, what if microtranscations was a thing for The Sims 4? Given that the game is bound to sell by the bucketload (only thing stopping it now is an Aliens: Colonial Marines-esque development hell possibility), this would be majorly profitable for EA. While the argument of how somebody would be perceived if they actually paid for microtransactions is both an open and, at-times, touchy subject, some players do pay money just to progress. And that's my jumping off point for this week's poll.

If The Sims 4 utilised microtransactions for either content or progression, would you make use of them?
