Late-January Update

The Sims Wiki There have been a few recent events after the last News Update. Here is a summary of each. New Main Page As you may have noticed, the Main Page has been redesigned and updated. The decision made to redesign the Main Page was made between LostInRiverview and I (Random Ranaun) at the IRC Channel on January 25, 2011. The Main Page still contains many of the same sections from the original Main Page, albeit in different areas of the page. A new, temporary edition to the Main Page is a Community Poll, which was designed to get reception from the TSW community. In addition to the poll, a section was added to the Community Portal talk page, which is where Users can give their full input and constructive criticism about the new Main Page. Fanon merge discussion The Fanon merge discussion has been restarted after a long hiatus. A new section was added detailing what would happen after the final consensus. Since the consensus was shown to be overwhelmingly positive, we have proceeded with the next step, which is to mainly create Fanon-specific policies. So, a Fanon Administrators page has been created, along with a request page. If you would like to apply to be a Fanon Admin, please fully read the entire Fanon Administrators page. Once you completely understand the concept, feel free to write an application at the requests page. 3-5 Fanon Administrators will be appointed. Proposed Manual of Style A new Manual of Style has been created! While it is just a prototype, the whole of it is completed. LostInRiverview has shown support for the proposed Manual of Style.
