My Strangetown opens with Docter Circe Beaker working in her lab. She wishes to make a name for herself so she decides to make a virus, combing the three most deadly viruses known to Sims. But the virus goes airborne and quickly kills Circe along with her family. The virus then takes off, swwping through household by household until almost all of the families of StrangeTown are wiped out. Only Lola , Chole and Johnnie Smith survive. Johnnie married Ophelia and adopted his cousin Pascel (Pascel's son) after his uncles death. The Smiths moved to Pleasantville, taking the virus with them. As I said in my first entry, I didn't care for StrangeTown. For me, didn't live up to its name name. There was nothing special about. Again, if Magic Town and Ole Town have been combine along with some form of the paranormal: witching cooking school, alien teaching yoga (hmm, getting some ideas) etc, I might have enjoyed the place. I know I might bee asking a lot of my virtual dollhouse. But then, Id always demanded a lot from my dolls.

So I decided to wipe it out. I had once played a game of Sims when one of my Sims contacted a virus and was spreading it. So I thought, what it I could create a virus that would wipe out StrangeTown. (It isn't deleted.) This would make for an interesting story.

Strangetown. I confess it; I hate it. If the creators had added Magic Town and/or some other paranormal element to this neighborhood, I might have been so quick to get rid of it. Maybe this kind of neighborhood could one day be added to Sims 3. Or Sims 4
But I did come up with a storyline that not only wipes out StrangeTown, led to a major storyline in Pleasantville. I am looking to posting that story here soon.Read more >
