RE:Profanity problem Edit
Well, there is a filter established to prevent use of profanity anywhere on the wiki, since it is disallowed (wikis should be kept family-friendly). This also covers fanon pages, not only canon ones. Use of profanity is forbidden. 13:07, October 11, 2012 (UTC)
Hi there. Does Fanon:White Owl family belong to you? It was previously made by an unregistered user, but seeing that you've made the White Owls, I just want to make sure if it was you who created that page. Also, he edited Mio and Jen White Owl, which makes me need to clarify if those edits were yours. Nikel Talk – Vote! 13:26, October 20, 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure about edits to Jen and Mio, but the White Owl family one is definitely mine. Sorry if I forgot to register. From now on, I'll only edit when I'm registered. As for Mio and Jen, I believe any edits done out of registration are my responsibility. Also, should any edits be done on my work that isn't registered from today onwards isn't my doing..Kajune (talk) 05:01, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
- Don't worry, as long as you don't sign in, but edit from the same IP address, I can make sure if it's you. :) Usually edits are okay for an unregistered user, but when one makes a fanon based on someone else's, it's questionable. That's okay, there; don't take it too hard. :) Nikel Talk – Vote! 05:51, October 21, 2012 (UTC)
Request regarding editingEdit
You haven't really edited the White Owls for quite a while. Is there a problem with gameplay?
Unfortunately, I've never purchased any game from Origin. :/ I don't even know much about Origin other than people can purchase digital downloads there. I don't really trust digital downloads, but maybe it's just because I never tried. If you want to ask about Origin, I think Lost Labyrinth knows more than me. Hi! I would gladly consider anyone who is a good contributor to TSW to be a friend :D. Just keep on editing like you are, and I'll be willing to help you with whatever you need. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 21:16, April 4, 2013 (UTC)
- The family tree is far too big to make. I've tried, and there are just too many branches. That is why I made an alternative one on the White Out family main page, though it isn't very 'satisfying', I know. Maybe someday, I'll manage. As for updating, I've run into a problem, but might fix it by the end of next week.Kajune (talk) 00:21, May 10, 2013 (UTC)
RE: Work as an AdministratorEdit
Hi there, Kajune! I may not be the best person about this, but I'd love to share my thoughts to you. :) In your case, your wiki seems to be in development process. Don't say that you're not good at being a founder or administrator. Becoming an administrator should not be your main concern to work on a developing wiki. It should mostly be concerned when the community starts growing and you need someone to moderate it. Interaction between other editors is a good thing to do in a wiki too, especially with steady editors. If you can't keep your wiki very active, it's not you to blame. You just need to keep working on it. When your wiki starts getting noticed and more people come, that's when you really need the work of an administrator.
An administrator is not really special someone. Some of them are generally active users who know wikia very well and are reliable to the community. They're the ones who moderate the wiki and the community. Don't say that you're not experienced in becoming an administrator. It's not admin's responsibility for everything. If you're confused or need any help, you can get some help from community or ask someone to help you with your problems.
Technically, since you're the founder, you should be the bureaucrat and administrator. Look up in your own user contributions page. There's the User Rights Management where you can see your own status. You can also change other user's status from their contributions page. Nikel Talk – Vote! 16:06, May 15, 2013 (UTC)
Why, hi there, Kajune! :) Catching up with real life business? Me too, actually. Trying to enjoy my holiday here.
You mean like compilation packs? Well, The Sims 2 has several, but The Sims 3 only has one, The Sims 3 Expansion Bundle, compilation of Generations and World Adventures. Nikel Talk – Vote! 11:48, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
- Well, too bad. :/ Maybe in some special occasions, they will give discount to the game? Discount in December, perhaps. Nikel Talk – Vote! 04:01, July 30, 2013 (UTC)
