Vita Alto is a Sim in Sunset Valley from The Sims 3. She is partially visible in the top right corner of the cover box art for The Sims 3.

Vita is the wife of Nick Alto and the mother of Holly Alto. She shares a good relationship with her husband, but she and her daughter Holly barely know each other. She is friends with Gunther and Cornelia Goth and old enemies with Geoffrey and Nancy Landgraab. This is probably due to their economic status; since the Landgraabs are old money and the Altos are new money, that could have caused their feud. She is an acquaintance of Mortimer Goth and Malcolm Landgraab.

Vita begins the game 16 days away from becoming an elder. She starts as the Local Representative in the political career track. Initially she has 5 charisma skill points and 2 writing skill points. In her inventory there is a laptop, Charisma Vol.1: Fixing the Friend Problem and the mystery novel Game of Thorns.

Vita Alto is one of the most evil Sims in Sunset Valley, appearing to many times be laughing at other Sims' disgrace. As a local representative in the political career, she is very charismatic, but what most other neighborhood Sims are unaware of is that she is also evil.

While usually quite outgoing, her evilness shows itself if a Sim gets on her bad side. She will frequently want to see the ghost of a Sim that may have only insulted her. She even often wishes to see the ghost of her own husband, Nick Alto, if he crosses her.

Onomatology: Alto, her surname, means tall in Italian, Portuguese and Spanish languages, and Vita, her name means life in Italian. However, the two together may mean "High Life" referring to her high society status.
