WooHoo is used in The Sims 2 as a euphemism for sexual intercourse. WooHoo interactions can be carried out between two Sims, regardless of gender, that have a very high relationship score - so high, in fact, that newly-created married couples quite often can't even access it right off the bat without a little foreplay (hey it's an adult topic). WooHooing is possible in several locations:

Base game:

• From relaxing together on a bed;
• In a hot tub;
• In a changing booth (Public WooHoo);

Nightlife:

• In a Car;
• In a photo booth;

Open For Business:

• In an elevator;

Bon Voyage:

• In a tent;
• In a sauna;
• In a hammock.

A male and female sim can alternatively Try for baby, if the female sim is either on her home lot or on a community lot and controllable. Trying for baby carries a 60% chance of pregnancy, while sims will never become pregnant simply from WooHoo (unless certain third-party hacks are used in the game). Gay couples won't be able to try for a baby, so instead the adoption agency will call and ask if you want to adopt a baby.

The following table shows the compatibility of various age groups and genders for WooHoo/baby interactions. Note that, when referring to trying for a baby, the table only states the possibilities for the interaction. As stated above, there are certain situations in which Sims who are able to have a baby together cannot try. It also makes the assumption, of course, that no hacks have been used - hacks do exist for teen WooHoo, and even teenage pregnancy!

Trying for baby is not possible for an adult female who is within a few days of becoming an elder.

Sims remember all the Sims they WooHoo with, but it's also exceptionally likely to lead to jealousy in relationships. Sims will also have a memory of their very first WooHoo.

As with all romantic interactions, blood relatives are automatically prevented from WooHooing. Furthermore, because of it's wide-ranging implications, WooHoo is never autonomous.

Pets can WooHoo in order to breed (producing a litter of up to 4 puppies or kittens), but they require a Sim that has a good relationship with at least one of the pets to direct them, and obviously the pets must have a good relationship. The gestation period is approx. 72 game hours, just like Sims.
